Ladies Night

It baffles me that I live so close to San Francisco and yet don't make it there more than 5 or 6 times a year.  Last night I spent a fun filled, dancing divas, pizza devouring night in The City with two of my best friends.  I have known Sandra since Kindergarten & Melissa since the summer before we began high school. We call ourselves FLOW.  If you don't know what it means, you're not supposed to.

We drank, laughed way too loud... and danced until 1am!  It was my first time at a Blue's Bar and I'm hooked!  Everyone is in their own little worlds, feeling the music on so many levels.  It was truly beautiful.  The only downside was this one guy there we named "Harvard Law" that was clearly a serial rapist, he oozed 'nasty.'  We managed to avoid him most of the night.

One of my favorite parts was the very end when we met 3 British men, whom I conveniently named "Adele."  Of course I played the part of the dumb American and asked them if they knew Price William & Kate.  Naturally, they saw through the act & knew right away I was just a funny girl.  We only ended up talking for about 30 minutes, but I feel as though they were my comedic soul-brothers.  Especially Mark & Chris.  The other guy, Matthew was the douche, which of course reminded me of Nathan & made me like him all the more.  What can I say, I'm a sucker for the a**holes.  Don't get me wrong, Nathan is one of the kindest people I have ever met, but he has that douchey streak that runs deep.

Anyway, it was a night to remember, I feel even closer to my girlfriends now & the break from my "stay at home mom/wife" routine was much needed.  Missing my husband & daughters was a bittersweet feeling. I wanted to bring my camera along but I ended up leaving it at the hotel, otherwise I'd have more proof of our amazing night.
